Wage gap maps

A matching pair of maps showing data on the wage gap between women and men in different parts of Australia. The data was obtained from the Australian Bureau of Statistics and analysed in Excel. It was then imported into QGIS for mapping at SA3 area. The maps of Australia and each of the capital city areas were then combined in Illustrator and other layout elements added. Photoshop and Dimension were used to prepare layout images.

Wage gap maps

These two maps show information about the wage gap between women and men in different parts of Australia, based on Australian Bureau of Statistics data. The first one shows the gap in median wages, and the second one shows how much the gap has widened or narrowed over a four-year period.
